Maintenance Tech (Machine Repair)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors and programmable controllers
Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables
Diagnose and replaces faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches and motors and positions sensing devices
Tests malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunction with other personnel from other affected departments including production, maintenance, and tool room to diagnose malfunction
Dismantle machines and equipment to gain access to problem areas
Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems
Removes and replaces worn or broken parts
QUALIFICATIONS
Working with robotic welding machines (Fanuc ped welders and spot welders)
Experience in fabrication
Experience in a manufacturing environment working with steel, iron, aluminum, and other various metals
PAY AND SHIFT TIMES
2nd shift, 2pm - 10pm Monday - Friday with OT on weekends as required
$35.00 per hour
$2.00 per hour additional if you have Journeyman Card
Union Facility - Member of UAW local 2000
This full-time, hourly role is a part of our Maintenance team and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and Manager.
