We are recruiting for a Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join our skilled team of pediatric professionals for a split position for Northfield, NJ and Sewell, NJ.This position is benefits eligible.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Occupational Therapist isan integral member of the Interdisciplinary Team, responsible for theadministration of appropriate treatment techniques and modalities forpediatric rehabilitation of children aged birth to 21

Responsible for adherence tothe scope and standards of practice as defined by the AmericanOccupational Therapy Association

Uses creativity, professionaljudgment, and problem solving techniques to achieve quality outcomes.

Participates in patient andfamily teaching and works collaboratively with other disciplines.

TheOT plays an integral role in facilitating functional performance throughthe integration of physical skills, play based activities,social-emotional development, sensory processing, motor performance, andcognitive abilities.

POSITIONQUALIFICATIONS:

MA/MS/MOTin Occupational Therapy from an AOTA accredited program

NJOT licensure or eligibility for licensure

1-2years of pediatric OT experience

Experiencewith treating sensory processing disorders in an outpatient settingpreferred

Experienceworking with neurological and vestibular diagnoses preferred, however,willing to train

CPRcertification

Strongorganizational / time management skills

Goodoral and written communication skills

Abilityto work well as a team member
