HealthPro Heritage Pediatrics is hiring a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our outpatient pediatric clinic in Temecula, California.

Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Temecula, CA
Setting: Pediatric Outpatient Clinic
Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time opportunities available
Pay Rate: $40–$46/hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities
Lead and manage the application of occupational therapy theory and practice according to organizational principles and patient needs.
Collaborate with and educate patients, physicians, families, caregivers, and other customers to meet expectations of OT services.
Act as a patient and rehabilitation advocate for current and prospective patients.
Participate in quality improvement and customer service activities.
Provide patient care: evaluation, treatment planning, goal setting, education, and documentation.
Direct and supervise OT assistants, rehabilitation technicians, and students.
Follow all safety policies and procedures regarding personal protection and patient safety.
Develop professionally and support clinic operations and development.
Ensure 100% supervision compliance with clinic, state, and federal guidelines for rehab techs.
Qualifications
Proficient clinical skills in evaluation and treatment of pediatric patients.
Ability to supervise and direct therapy assistants, aides, and student interns.
Active engagement in professional development.
Independent problem identification and action initiation.
Clear written documentation skills.
Clear verbal communication with staff, patients, families, physicians, case managers, and payors.
Composure when patients, families, or staff are angry or frustrated.
Knowledge of patient rights, confidentiality, and reimbursement/payor issues (e.g., Workers’ Compensation, Medicare, Managed Care).
Experience
Minimum 1–2 years clinical experience in an outpatient setting with pediatric population.
Experience in Fine-Motor Skill Development, Gross-Motor Skill Development/Coordination, Visual-Motor Integration, Sensory Processing.
Physical Demands
Manual dexterity to mobilize joints and perform deep tissue massage daily.
Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and transfer patients to various surfaces.
Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and reach during patient treatment and preparation.
Sit regularly at a charting desk or computer terminal to complete documentation.
Ability to perform CPR if necessary.
