Overview
Radiology Tech – Radiology in Herrin, IL. This travel assignment begins May 4, 2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,368 to $2,425 per week, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: Weekend midnights (Friday through Sunday, 19:00–07:30). Setting: hospital radiology department. No OR or fluoroscopy; the technologist will work independently in the X‑ray suite, with MRI responsibilities as required by the shift and department needs.

Responsibilities
Perform MRI and radiography procedures according to radiologist‑approved protocols
Operate MRI and X‑ray equipment; position patients and select imaging parameters
Utilize PACS to verify and attach imaging studies to patient records; ensure accuracy of studies
Verify scan protocols with the Radiologist and maintain IV/contrast competency as required
Assist with clerical and office duties to support department efficiency; document exams and maintain workflow in a fast‑paced environment
Maintain patient safety, infection control, and radiation safety practices; work independently in the X‑ray suite during scheduled shifts
Requirements
Active ARRT certification in Radiology
MRI licensure or MRI certification
IEMA licensure
CPR certification
Education: Associate degree in Radiology or equivalent certification
Experience: 1 year radiology experience preferred
Ability to work weekend midnights and perform radiology procedures in a hospital setting; proficient with PACS and radiology workflow
