Key Responsibilities
Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) on metal components according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine project requirements.
Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools.
Inspect finished welds for quality, defects, and adherence to established standards.
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components from raw materials.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during welding operations.
Grind, deburr, and finish welded products to achieve desired aesthetics and functionality.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in multiple welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) relevant to manufacturing.
Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, defect‑free welds in various materials and positions.
Strong understanding and adherence to welding safety procedures and quality standards.
Relevant AWS certification (e.g., D1.1) or equivalent industry certification.
Bonus Qualifications
AWS certifications in multiple welding processes (e.g., TIG, Stick, Flux‑cored arc welding)
Experience with advanced fabrication techniques including cutting, grinding, and fitting
Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and welding symbols
Basic knowledge of welding equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Experience with quality control processes, including visual inspection and non‑destructive testing (NDT) basics
