Speech/Language Pathologist – Clinical Fellowship School
StartDate: 7/27/2026. Available Shifts: 8 D. Pay Rate: $2239.00 – $2307.00.
AMN Healthcare is partnering with a well‑respected school district in Lawrenceville, Georgia to hire a highly motivated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position. The SLP will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide comprehensive speech and language services that support students’ academic and social development.
Responsibilities
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with goals for students with speech and language needs.
Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings throughout the school year.
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Provide training and resources to teachers and staff on effective strategies to integrate speech therapy goals into the classroom environment.
Required Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or related field.
New graduate accepted; Clinical Fellowship SLP accepted.
Active SLP license in the state of Georgia.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a school setting, early childhood, or pediatrics.
Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations.
