Position Title
Clinical Quality Improvement Facilitator (CQIF-8030)
Position Purpose

Key Responsibilities
Oversee ongoing process improvement to meet or exceed evolving clinical, organizational, and community standards in the population.
Assess educational needs of staff and assist in the development of educational programs, staff education materials, and community education as needed.
Facilitates activities related to or resulting from patient safety, harm reduction, and clinical performance.
Responsible for identifying, developing, coordinating, promoting, supporting, and implementing assigned clinical quality, and/or service improvement projects and programs, and acts as a resource for evidence-based practice.
Research evidence-based practices, national and regional benchmarks, and industry standards and integrates findings into clinical improvement initiatives.
Coordinates and collaborates with stakeholders, multidisciplinary teams, and internal and external customers to create collaborative work relationships that drive performance and quality outcomes in a timely and effective manner.
Ensures quality and patient safety standards are incorporated into current processes and development of new system processes.
Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team caring for sepsis and stroke patients.
Performs other duties as assigned to support overall effectiveness of department and organization.
Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of critical care and/or ED experience, with a solid grasp of hemodynamics.
Certification
Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association or American Life Support.
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) within 2 years of hire.
License
Current, valid Arizona RN license.
Special Position Requirements
Exposure Category III: Expected duties do not have potential for exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues.
Work Requirements: Visual Acuity; Ability to sit at a computer for up to five hours a day; Minor lifting, 25 pounds.
