Banner Rehabilitation Hospital – Patient Care Technician (PCT)
Overview
Our inpatient rehabilitation hospital is committed to providing exceptional and compassionate care to address medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges for individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas.
Location & Schedule
Location: Phoenix, AZ.
Schedule: Full‑time days, 12‑hour shifts, 6:00‑6:30.
Compensation & Bonus
Pay: $18.93 – $24.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Sign‑On Bonus: $3,000.
Requirements
Requires at least 1 year of PCT or nursing assistant experience.
Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of a registered nurse, performs routine tasks in patient care assistance and documentation of care provided.
Transports patients to and from various treatment areas when necessary; assists in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
Performs services involving dressing, showering, bathing, and oral feeding.
Answers patient lights and provides timely services that contribute to physical well‑being; participates in patient turning/repositioning and performs purposeful hourly rounds.
Performs other duties as assigned.
