Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
Administer medications as prescribed and ensure clients adhere to their care plans.
Assist with mobility and physical exercises to promote physical health.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Document care provided and any observations in client records accurately.
Requirements
Current HHA or CNA certification in the state of Indiana.
Previous experience in home care or healthcare settings preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Basic First Aid and CPR certification in person.
Must pass background checks.
