Location: Broward County & Miami-Dade, FL (In-Office)
Position Overview
Assurance of Hope Institute (AHI), Inc., a behavioral health organization, is seeking a Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to provide comprehensive psychological testing and diagnostic evaluations for both children and adults in an outpatient setting.
This role is ideal for a psychologist seeking flexible, low‑commitment work focused on assessment and report writing, without maintaining an ongoing therapy caseload.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults
Complete assessments for ADHD
Complete assessments for Behavioral concerns
Complete assessments for Mood and anxiety disorders
Complete assessments for Diagnostic clarification
Administer, score, and interpret standardized testing instruments
Prepare clear, comprehensive, and timely reports suitable for clinical, academic, and referral purposes
Provide feedback sessions to clients and/or parents/guardians
Collaborate with clinical team and, when appropriate, support coordination with schools or external providers
Maintain documentation in compliance with clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology
Active Florida Psychologist License (required)
Experience conducting psychological testing with children and/or adolescents
Strong diagnostic, report writing, and clinical formulation skills
Ability to work independently and meet documentation timelines
Preferred Experience
Experience with ADHD evaluations in children
Familiarity with commonly used pediatric and adult assessment tools, such as
Cognitive: WISC-V, WAIS-IV
Behavioral: BASC-3, Conners
Personality/Clinical: MMPI-2, MCMI
Experience working with families and providing parent feedback sessions
Familiarity with school-related documentation (IEP/504 recommendations)
Schedule
Flexible: 1 day per week (preferred) or PRN
Consistent weekly day available (e.g., same weekday)
Opportunity to increase volume based on availability
