Cardiovascular Spec Rad Tech – Full Time

Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain advanced radiologic equipment used in cardiac catheterization and angiography procedures.

Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.

Collaborate closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

Monitor patients during procedures, recognizing and responding to any adverse reactions or complications.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information.

Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements related to radiation exposure and infection control.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with advancements in cardiovascular imaging technology.

Assist cardiologists and interventional radiologists during invasive procedures by providing real-time imaging support.

Review and verify imaging results for clarity and accuracy before submission to the medical team.

Document procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and assist in inventory management of radiologic supplies.

Required Skills And Qualifications

Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) with specialized training in cardiovascular imaging.

Proven experience in a cardiac catheterization and angiography laboratory setting.

Proficiency in operating fluoroscopy, digital subtraction angiography (DSA), and other cardiovascular imaging modalities.

Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.

Excellent patient care and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Commitment to maintaining strict radiation safety and infection control standards.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
