Description
Provides a variety of quality radiographic imaging, including under the general direction of a physician, fluoroscopy for all age groups served by the entity while ensuring the principles of ALARA are achieved.
Participates in department quality improvement processes to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Depending on departmental business needs, this position will support the department’s patient workflow such as front desk duties, phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs, patient intake, and other duties as assigned and supported by scope of practice.
Estimated pay range for this position is $27.72 - $36.04 per hour depending on experience.
Qualifications
High School Diploma, Certificate of Attendance, Certificate of Completion, GED, or equivalent training or experience.
Licenses & Certifications
Basic Life Support.
Certified Radiologic Technologist.
ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography.
Additional Qualifications
Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology.
Six months experience in an acute care setting preferred.
ARRT Radiography certified or eligible.
Depending on departmental business needs, may be required to be competent in skills such as vital signs, phlebotomy, EKG, front desk duties including quick registration, etc.
Change agility and flexibility a must.
