Base rate: $20.00 per hour
41 paid days off per year
Location
Metro RYDC, DeKalb County, Atlanta, GA.
Responsibilities
Patient triage: taking vital signs, recording patient interview/complaints, preparing patient for exams/procedures.
Process lab requests, including venipuncture; perform routine screening tests, EKGs, nebulizer treatments, and changing dressings as ordered.
Preparation and administration of medications as prescribed; note times and amounts on patient records.
Enter clinical data into the electronic medical record and maintain accurate documentation.
Assist with administrative clerical duties, answering phones, scheduling appointments.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma with two years of experience and one of the following certifications: AAMA, CCMA, MedCa, NCMA, RMA.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years previous experience in a clinical setting and correctional clinical experience.
Experience with electronic medical record.
Bi‑lingual (plus).
Abilities
Maintain confidentiality.
Detail‑oriented.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.
