Cullman Internal Medicine is seeking an experienced Triage individual to fill a vacant position.
Our office hours are 7:45am-5pm (or until last patient completed) Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
Triage – Patient Vital Signs, manual blood pressures, injections, EKGs, etc.
Maintains strictest confidentiality, adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
Adheres to all Compliance and OSHA guidelines/regulations.
Participates in educational activities and attends staff meetings. Collaborate with all office personnel as needed.
Occasional overtime may be required and/or hours may be shortened as business needs dictate.
Additional functions and requirements may be assigned by supervisor as deemed appropriate.
Conducts self in accordance with Cullman Internal Medicine employee handbook.
Serves as backup scheduler.
Required Experience
Candidates should have 2 years' experience in basic patient care, including taking vital signs, injections, EKG's and more.
Ability to take manual blood pressures is required.
Must be well organized and detail oriented.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees and the public.
Candidate must be highly motivated to learn new skills.
Knowledge of computer programs.
