Job Description
Intelligence is crucial to the security of our nation. By gathering information about an adversary’s intentions, strengths, vulnerabilities, and capabilities, the military can plan, prepare, and defend against potential attacks. As a Human Intelligence Collector in the Army National Guard, you will earn a security clearance, then utilize your strategic, cognitive, and language skills to obtain Intel from both friendly and hostile sources.

Responsibilities

Conduct intelligence gathering missions involving human sources.

Interrogate and debrief human intelligence sources as defined by regulation.

Develop intelligence gathering and collection missions as well as interrogation plans.

Advise military organizations based on gathered intelligence.

Coordinate with federal agencies.

Screen human intelligence sources and documents.

Participate in human intelligence operations.

Analyze and prepare intelligence reports.

Through training, you will acquire skills that can lead to civilian careers in research, business planning, or positions with government agencies.

Requirements

Must be enlisted in the Army National Guard.

Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate.

Must be between 17 and 35 years of age.

Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.

Must meet citizenship requirements.
