Position Overview

Board-eligible or Board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon needed for a rapidly growing, multidisciplinary practice specializing in treating traumatically injured patients.

Focus: Providing exclusive healthcare services for workers? compensation and motor vehicle accident (no-fault/lien) cases.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and diagnose illnesses and injuries related to bones, joints, ligaments, and other musculoskeletal structures.

Perform surgical and medical procedures necessary to treat, repair, or improve patient functioning.

Review medical history and diagnostics, including test results and imagery, to create and execute comprehensive treatment plans.

Monitor patient progress attentively during and after treatments or surgical interventions.

Communicate effectively with patients to ensure they understand their diagnosis, treatment options, and surgical procedures.

Document all clinical data, including evaluations, treatments, and medications, in accordance with company policies.

Collaborate with the medical team, sharing expertise with physicians and communicating with management to ensure precise care coordination.

Supervise Medical Assistants and PAs to ensure compliance with all clinical regulations and procedures.

Prescribe and administer medications in strict accordance with state and federal regulations.

Maintain updated knowledge of surgical techniques and technical procedures to advance patient care.

Requirements

Medical Degree from an accredited university with an active New York Medical License.

Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery.

5+ years of experience in orthopedic surgery.

WCB Authorization with thorough knowledge of No-Fault and Workers? Compensation laws.

Clinical experience in PM&R is preferred.

Experience with personal injury (motor vehicle and work-related) cases preferred.

Travel: Must be willing to travel between clinic locations within NYC.

Soft Skills: Highly organized, respectful, team-oriented, and possessing a strong work ethic with exceptional communication skills.
