
MRI Tech - Part Time - La Jolla

This is a part‑time position (48 hours per pay period) with 8‑hour varied day shifts scheduled on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The role includes participation in an on‑call rotation, including a 7‑day backup call every 7 weeks.
This position is based at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla with the potential to float to AMP.

New Graduates (must have at least 1 year of MRI Tech experience)
Retention Incentive Requirements
Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
Must remain in original department/specialty
Must remain in original Job Title
Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
Required Qualifications
ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT or CRT
Venipuncture class completion. Certificate must be provided at application; 10 sticks must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
BLS from the American Heart Association
Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology Technology or equivalent education and experience in radiologic imaging obtained through a hospital‑based training program or other formalized on‑the‑job program, in combination with current licensure/certification
Excellent investigative, interpersonal and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
2 years of MRI experience
Cardiac and Breast experience
Experience with Siemens scanners
