Responsibilities
The Valley Health System has expanded into an integrated health network that serves more than two million people in Southern Nevada. Starting with Valley Hospital Medical Center in 1979, the Valley Health System has grown to include Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center, Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center, Summerlin Hospital Medical Center, Henderson Hospital and Valley Health Speciality Hospital. Job Description
Responsible for the analysis of laboratory specimens and subsequent result reporting according to laboratory protocol and procedures. Acts as general supervisor over assigned lab activities and requires no direct supervision, able to work alone.

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in relevant science is preferred.

Experience
Three (3) years experience as Medical Technologist or Clinical Lab Specialist is required. One year supervisory or two (2) years lead experience required.

Technical Skills
General bench tech skills required to provide coverage in all modalities.

License/Certification
Certified as general supervisor under Nevada State Board with MT (ASC) or equivalent registration.

Other
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide high quality of patient care appropriately (specific age competent). Must possess appropriate people skills, organization and attention to detail. Must desire to act as a resource and provide assistance as required.
