Job Summary
American Traveler is seeking a Travel Electrophysiology Technician for a 13‑week assignment in Puyallup, Washington.
Assignment Overview
Start Date: May 18 2026; Duration: 13 weeks; 40 hours per week; 10‑hour rotating shifts.
Shift options: 6:00 AM–4:30 PM or 7:00 AM–5:30 PM (depending on call assignment). Rotating day off each week.
Responsibilities
Work in a hospital‑based Cath Lab with 2 procedure rooms at a Level III Trauma Center.
Perform diagnostic/interventional catheterization procedures: LHC/RHC, NSTEMI and STEMI management, Impella, IABPs, Rotablator, CTOs, staged PCI, shockwave therapy, temporary pacers, peripheral diagnostic/intervention, and loop recorders.
Assist in EP procedures: Micra, pacemaker implants, AICDs, lead extractions/revisions, and generator changes.
Average 8 cases performed per day.
Provide weekday call coverage once per week (Mon–Thu) from end of shift until 7:00 AM the following morning.
Provide weekend call coverage every 6th weekend, from end of shift Friday through Monday at 7:00 AM.
One holiday per contract on a call‑only basis.
Possibility of floating to a sister Cath Lab approximately 15 minutes away, up to once per week with advance notice.
Scrub and operate the table simultaneously; monitoring experience preferred.
Requirements
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
ARRT or RCIS certification.
WA state license if applicable.
Cath Lab‑specific experience: 1 year with prior travel experience, or 2+ years for first‑time travelers.
Merge hemodynamic system experience preferred.
Two professional references (supervisor level or above) required.
