Responsibilities
As a Travel Physical Therapist in an acute outpatient setting, you will evaluate and treat patients with a range of physical impairments, disabilities, and injuries. You will develop individualized treatment plans, conduct patient assessments, and design therapeutic exercise programs. You will educate patients on injury prevention and health promotion and maintain accurate patient records, communicating progress to the multidisciplinary care team.
Qualifications
Valid Physical Therapist license in Virginia.
Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care outpatient setting.
Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Knowledge of acute care protocols.
BLS‑AHA certification.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team.
