Ultrasound Technologist PRN

Your tasks and responsibilities as Ultrasound Technologist include but are not limited to:
Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner
Obtain and document a complete patient history as it relates to the procedure ordered, and obtain informed consent in accordance with departmental policy and procedure
Maintain statistical results for quality improvement
Communicate effectively with patient providing explanation of procedures within scope of practice and with radiologists regarding any unusual clinical findings, history, test results, etc.
Qualifications
A two‑year Associate Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Valid registry through ARDMS with RVT, AB, or OB/GYN specialty/ies
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
1–3 years previous experience as Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer)
Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, computer (MEDITECH), and clerical skills
Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
