Manager, Process Management - PULSE Governance
The PULSE Product Governance Team is responsible for governing the end-to-end product lifecycle, ensuring strong risk management, operational excellence, and transparent decision-making across the product development activities. We evaluate and refine lifecycle controls, enhance process quality and enable consistent governance for program development on Debit products across the Global Payments Network. As a Manager, Process Risk Management at Capital One you’ll be responsible for working with business partners to ensure adherence with enterprise risks and controls that support the Product Lifecycle
Responsibilities:
Manage a team that serves as an interdepartmental liaison, interfacing with lines of Business, Tech and Risk to provide oversight of and adherence to enterprise standards and controls across the Product Lifecycle
Oversee management of controls and risk standards through execution, testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement
Gather data and reporting; perform initial analysis or potentially evaluate data provided by team analysts
Design and implement internal governance processes
Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments
Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment
Display a passion for coaching and developing a team of associates through their leadership style
Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
At least 4 years of Process or Risk Management experience
At least 3 years of Project Management experience
At least 2 years of Continual Improvement experience
At least 1 year of experience in People management
At least 2 years of Jira experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters / MBA degree
5+ years of experience in Process management
4+ years of experience in Project management
2+ years of experience in People management
PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Strong problem solving and influencing skills
Work experience achieving results with complex projects

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location.
Chicago, IL: $122,100 - $139,400 for Manager, Process Management
Houston, TX: $122,100 - $139,400 for Manager, Process Management
McLean, VA: $134,400 - $153,300 for Manager, Process Management
Riverwoods, IL: $122,100 - $139,400 for Manager, Process Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
