Job Overview
Amazon’s Transportation Operations team is seeking highly skilled Logistics Specialists to assist in the management of daily freight movements that flow into and out of our North American fulfillment centers and associated fulfillment network. This new role offers an exciting opportunity to join a team in a high‑growth area. Ideal candidates have a background in transportation and excellent customer service skills. They must coordinate between multiple parties to maintain high customer service levels and should possess exceptional communication skills. This position requires the ability to work independently in a high‑pressure environment.
Responsibilities
Support freight operations by ensuring smooth shipments.
Analyze data to improve efficiency and eliminate defects.
Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues.
Execute processes to meet standard work expectations.
Develop performance metrics to drive business results.
Skills and Qualifications
Logistics, operations, customer service, freight, transportation, supply chain, dispatch.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working in Paragon and with shippers.
Combination of operational and customer service experience.
Strong problem‑solving and deep‑dive analytical skills.
Experience Level
Entry level.
Job Type & Location
Contract position based out of Atlanta, GA (fully onsite).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 – $23.00 per hour.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment. If eligible, temporary benefits may include:
