Transportation Quality Assurance Inspector

Construction Quality Inspector – Multiple positions in Renton, WA, managed from Redmond, WA.
Responsibilities
Perform daily construction quality inspection/testing of day
ight work operation to confirm the contractor is complying with the requirements of the contract plans and specifications.
Prepare detailed Daily Inspection Reports, with photos, accurately reflecting the construction progress.
Inspect and document materials acceptance.
Maintain a good working relationship with contractor and client.
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of experience on transportation projects (Highway, airport, transit, etc.) required. WAQTC certification preferred, or ability to obtain in 3 months.
ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I preferred, or ability to obtain in 3 months.
Inspection experience including traffic control, PCC and asphalt paving, reinforced concrete, earthwork, drainage and striping.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work night/weekend shifts for an extended duration.
Proactive and personable; ability to learn quickly and assist with applicable tasks.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Compensation
$32 - $44 per hour, depending on experience.
Significant overtime expected.
Night shift premium.
