Job Position

Supervisor or Manager responsibilities include overseeing the plant Janitorial Operations which has both day and night crews. This position plays a critical role in ensuring all staff stays on task and complete all assignments to ServiceMaster standards. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of cleaning principles and team supervision abilities.
Responsibilities

Training cleaners on ServiceMaster's standards, products, processes and procedures
Clean assigned building including warehouse by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming them. Gather and empty trash. Service, clean, and supply restrooms. Clean and polish furniture
Oversees staff performance and ensures all assignments are completed in accordance to set task schedule
Respond to customer complaints and request in a timely and caring manner
Ensure compliance with safety and OSHA regulations
Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
Gather and empty trash.
Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
Mix water and products in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications
This is Warehouse/Office Building Cleaning Location where lifting heavy objects is required
Must Pass Background Check
**This position is in the Blytheville, AR - However, support may be required in surrounding areas
** Education: It is preferred that the Custodian have training in the custodial field.
Experience: A minimum of 5 yrs experience in the custodial field required. Knowledge of proper cleaning methods required.
5 years' supervisor experience
Floor Tech Experience is preferred
Use proper PPE where required
Effective oral and written communication skills commensurate with the responsibilities of the position are required. Schedule: Full-Time and flexible. Scheduled hours may vary based on facility needs, but mainly 8 hours per day; 5-6 days per week Medical Benefits, Short-Term Disability, Life Insurance, and 401K available
Physical Demands and Qualifications

Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching over head, reaching forward. Must be able to lift and and/or carry 25lbs.
Ability to read cleaning instructions
Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
