What to Expect
The Self Perform Mechanical Logistics Coordinator role is pivotal in managing the influx of thousands of parts, materials, and equipment at construction sites, ensuring seamless acceptance, verification, organization, storage, inventory, and delivery to installation teams. You will operate a wide range of mobile equipment to transport equipment and materials including flat bed trucks and forklifts. You will play a critical role in coordination to ensure execution of first principals in logistics. This role will Reno local and will require travel to multiple job sites throughout the Reno Region.

What You'll Do

Receive, document, and track all incoming materials, tools, and equipment using the MBL spreadsheet and inventory systems

Operate forklifts, telehandlers, and stakebed trucks to offload, transport, and stage materials across the site

Set up rigging equipment and prepare materials for lifting and loading operations

Coordinate deliveries with vendors and field teams; resolve logistical issues as they come up

Maintain organized laydown yards and storage areas; track inventory levels, space allocations, and material flow

Work with superintendents, foremen, procurement, and management to support daily construction needs

Keep all required certifications current for heavy equipment operation (forklift, telehandler, stakebed truck)

What You'll Bring

This position requires strong communication skills and a strong commitment to safety (OSHA 10 or 30 a plus)

3 years of experience in material handler and construction/manufacturing sites

Forklift certification (15K Telehandler and 36K Heavy duty forklift a plus)

Physical stamina and the ability to work 8+ hour shift in various environments, including working at heights, lifting and moving materials up to 70 lbs., and adverse weather conditions (Inside and Outside)

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and on multiple projects at once
