We are searching for a senior associate to join our Corporate group in our Ann Arbor office. The ideal candidate would have experience with start-ups and emerging growth companies, seed and venture capital financings, and mergers & acquisitions.
We are seeking motivated, team-oriented, and collaborative attorneys who are excited about working with clients in the start-up and venture capital ecosystem. Depending on your experience, your practice at Gunderson would involve a mix of counseling founders, executives, and VCs, and representing companies and investors in venture financing, growth equity, and M&A transactions. You will have significant client contact daily, and must be comfortable interacting with CEOs, Boards of Directors, and general partners of venture funds.
Job Requirements
JD 2017-2019
Previous large law firm experience required.
Candidates must be admitted or eligible to waive into the State Bar of Michigan.
Experience working with emerging growth companies and funds.
Experience in M&A, venture capital financings and/or growth equity financing transactions.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are highly valued.
Salary Range
$420,000 - $445,000
