Mfg Receiving Shipping & Inventory Rep
The purpose of this position is to perform shipping and receiving tasks per our SOPs to meet or exceed the needs of our internal customers. Position will ensure proper execution of inventory movements and transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Process the shipment of orders for internal customers, including, but not limited to implants, instruments, biologics, samples, promotional materials, and test products.
Perform receipt of inventory functions, including, but not limited to sterile lot, returns, raw materials, manufacturing materials, and dock-to-stock products.
Complete tasks associated with transfer of product and documentation to the next point of use.
Support investigation and reconciliation efforts associated with inventory cycle counts.
Understand and follow all departmental SOPs. Document and report any process deviations to team leader.
Understand and comply with all department safety policies and procedures.
Understand and comply with all hazardous materials shipping requirements.
Ensure storage of product is organized and accurate.
Assist team leader in resolving problems and complaints related to agents and/or shipping orders.
Perform functions as directed by team leader associated with equipment monitoring and maintenance.
Perform material handling duties, including those requiring use of forklift and those associated with unloading/loading trucks.
Understand and apply the Quality System and any appropriate Federal and International standards.
Assist and support other employees, teams, and sales personnel as necessary.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
Familiarity in working with inventory control and distribution systems.
Experience with QAD systems preferred.
Computer experience preferable/Basic knowledge of Windows based office productivity tools including word processor and spreadsheets are essential.
Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Attention to detail, record keeping skills
High level of organization, analytical and communication skills.
