Parish Administrative Assistant

Location: St. Mary Catholic Church, De Pere, WI 54115
Position Overview

We are seeking a warm and organized Parish Administrative Assistant to serve as the welcoming face of our parish community. This key role supports the church in carrying out its mission by accompanying members and staff while planning and implementing effective organizational processes to achieve our Gospel-based goals. This position is also open for a job-share opportunity.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain a welcoming and hospitable office environment for parishioners, visitors, and staff.
Support member and volunteer engagement by coordinating communications and outreach efforts.
Manage data entry, record keeping, and database maintenance to ensure accurate and up-to-date parish information.
Oversee general office administration including scheduling, correspondence, and supply management.
Coordinate resources and logistics to support parish mission and ministry activities.
Assist in the preparation and distribution of parish communications such as bulletins, newsletters, and announcements.
Collaborate with clergy, ministry leaders, and volunteers to facilitate smooth parish operations.
Qualifications & Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a welcoming and approachable demeanor.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage diverse office functions.
Proficiency with data management and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, database systems).
Ability to work collaboratively with parish staff, volunteers, and community members.
Commitment to supporting the mission and values of the parish and its Gospel-based goals.
Previous experience in office administration or parish support roles preferred.
