Core Responsibilities
Provide leadership and guidance to the front‑end and side loader operators.
Ensure that all safety rules and procedures are followed rigorously by the crew.
Regularly assess the performance of the sideloader operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to minimize unplanned downtime.
Oversee the execution of programs aimed at maintaining a clean and organized facility.
Keep training materials up‑to‑date and ensure ongoing training for lift operators to enhance their performance.
Act as a bridge between team members and management, fostering cooperation across departments.
Conduct performance reviews to evaluate competency, knowledge, and contributions.
Ensure that regular equipment audit checks and inspections are conducted by the lift operators. Any identified issues should be promptly reported to the shop maintenance team for timely resolution.
Oversee accurate inventory tracking within the finished goods yard. Regularly conduct cycle counts to verify stock levels, identify discrepancies, and maintain precise records of product quantities.
Oversee truck movement in the shipping/dispatch yard to ensure that truck drivers are following procedures and safety protocols when loading trucks or driving on BENTELER property.
Job Requirements
High School Diploma/General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
Experience in a manufacturing environment with safety programs and incident accountability.
Experience with heavy mobile equipment.
Strong safety awareness and experience.
Demonstrated capability of results through people, technology, and process.
