This is a 1 on 1 position that helps a person remain in their own home. This is self-directed care. Build a positive, trusting relationship while assisting in daily routines and personal care.
Pay: $19.68/hour
Schedule: 81.75 hours/week; shared hours will increase.
Tasks
Sponge bath
Bathing assistance
Dressing assistance
Transfer assistance (Commode assistance)
Housekeeping – light and deep cleaning all areas
Light cooking
Laundry assistance
Other miscellaneous tasks assigned by member including running short errands
Ideal Candidate
Good work ethic
Reliable/Dependable
Conversational knowledge of ALS a plus and caregiving/Hoyer lift experience a plus
Reliable transportation for errands as needed
