
EIC Supervisor

Thompson First Group is currently seeking a qualified EI&C Supervisor for a local client in Spring Grove, PA.
Roles and Responsibilities
Champion safety in all aspects of the position
Ensure completion of all incident investigations (near misses, injuries, observations, etc.)
Maintain high awareness and compliance with electrical safety policies
Ensure environmental systems awareness and compliance
Understand and administer company policies
Identify and execute reliability roadmap action items
Apply standardized processes to drive consistent outcomes
Lead conflict resolution efforts
Support apprenticeship programs through auditing and oversight
Maintain strong communication across all levels of the organization
Manage employee onboarding and succession planning
Build and maintain relationships with operations, maintenance teams, vendors, contractors, and engineers
Collaborate with engineering and production teams on scheduling, priorities, and workforce management
Monitor work order backlog and identify improvement opportunities
Track and report daily/weekly progress of scheduled work
Evaluate job feedback to improve future performance
Review and approve shop spending, purchase requisitions, and invoices
Manage departmental budgets and maintenance expenditures
Contribute to capital budgeting, including equipment upgrades and replacements
Support outage planning and execution
Participate in on-call supervisor rotation
Manage deadlines and variable workloads, including 24/7 on-call support as needed
Drive continuous improvement through scheduling, PM/PdM, and 6S initiatives
Ensure shop equipment meets ISO standards
Participate in root cause failure analysis (RCFA) processes
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Journeyman certification or equivalent experience preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial environment
Proven ability to manage and lead teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience with SAP, SAP-PM, or similar systems required
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Knowledge of safety hazards and proper precautions
Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators and protective clothing
Strong mathematical and technical skills for design, layout, and estimation
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and manuals
Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license required
Physical Requirements
Regular use of hands, reaching, talking, and hearing
Occasional standing, walking, climbing, and lifting
Ability to perform physical tasks such as kneeling, crouching, or crawling
Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception
Must be able to wear appropriate vision and hearing protection
Schedule
Monday - Friday 7-3. On call hours.
