Description

Position: Inventory Tech 1 Grade: 3
Purpose: Order consumable and expense items via purchase requisitions. Replenish stock items as they arrive. Facilitate basic pulling and processing of machine carts via machine MO packets from machine processors (Tech 3). Responsible for handling Assembly plant customer requests of service items and consumable items. Manage and fulfill assembly plant material handling.

Responsibilities: Quantifiable metrics to which a person is held accountable
Arrive at work and position on time; remain present and engaged the entire assigned shift.
Replenish all parts into stock locations after receiving.
Order consumable and expense items via purchase requisitions.
Fill and manage Assembly plant customer requests for consumable and expense items.
Able to recognize and document patterns in process and problem solving.
Participate in regular employee reviews including setting and achieving goals.
Set up and stage all mechanical machine carts for the assembly plant.
Replenish floor stock into stock locations after receiving.
Safe and efficient operation of company fork trucks.
Receive parts from manufacturing plant and deliver accordingly.
Scan all incoming documents and update the truck app after each delivery.
Track and update the completion and physical location of carts for assembly plant visibility.
Pull all mechanical parts for assembly plant capital machine builds.
Track shortages and supply the floor as shortage parts become available.
Manage and maintain all Manufacturing Orders (MO's) per machine until machine shipment.
Perform light duties in the Company ERP system such as issuing and picking parts.
Essential qualifications and skills
High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
Proficient computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
Ability to learn and navigate new software quickly and efficiently.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Entry level Inventory and warehouse background.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and determined to meet goals.
Documentation of a current drug screen must be provided prior to start date.
