Summary
The HR Project Assistant will assist the organization in the transition of hard copy employee files to a digital employee file system. The work will include scanning, downloading files, and digital file organization. This role requires extreme confidentiality and attention to detail.

Meets the general employment qualifications as outlined in the personnel policies of the agency.
Has ability to relate to people meaningfully and to function as a member of the agency team.
Proficiency in use of computers and software applications to organize files and data.
Ability to work independently with an attention to detail.
Has the knowledge and skills necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Gain knowledge of employee file structure and organization.
Scan hard copy employee files and download to Microsoft OneDrive to create and build digital files.
Establish goals and deadlines to keep project on schedule to ensure completion.
Handle highly confidential information in a professional manner.
Has knowledge and understanding of the agency’s structures, services, policies, and procedures, and related jobs.
Participate as a team member by sharing responsibilities and supporting other team members.
Respect the cultural and socioeconomic diversity of staff members and children in care and strive to create a positive relationship within BCH.
Participate in the agency’s Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) program as needed.
Supervision
Works under the direct supervision of the VP Human Resources.
Maintains an open line of communication with supervisor. Requests conferences, as needed, to be able to perform tasks effectively.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general information. Ability to effectively communicate with others, including managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Contact With Others
Regular contact with colleagues in all departments, as well as with outside individuals and groups; should represent Baptist Children’s Homes of NC, Inc. in a positive manner. Contacts outside of the agency where proper handling of situations is of utmost importance as the agency’s image could be affected.
Mental/Visual/auditory Demand
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form and ability to draw conclusions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to talk and hear both in person and on the telephone.
