Job Summary
KDC Inc. is seeking a Project Executive with demonstrated project management experience in the electrical industry. The role requires extensive experience leading multi‑million‑dollar commercial and industrial projects in both the public and private sectors. The Project Executive will lead, plan, coordinate, and direct construction projects to meet profit and growth objectives, while ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, safety, and client satisfaction.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of project activities for assigned projects in accordance with objectives, budget, and quality standards.
Identify, pursue, and secure new work, clients, and projects.
Maintain positive, confident relationships with owners, owners’ representatives, architects, designers, consultants, and subcontractors.
Manage the pre‑planning and conceptual phase.
Provide management resources for successful progress and completion of projects per budget, schedule, and contract documents.
Monitor project budget, reporting risks or discrepancies to the Division Manager during monthly reviews.
Understand complex project plans, drawings, specifications, and schedule requirements.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation, including RFIs, submittals, schedule updates, time records, change orders, and general correspondence.
Coordinate with the Superintendent and field staff to prioritize work and resolve scheduling conflicts.
Establish, maintain, and track performance standards for all work on assigned projects.
Inspect work regularly and enforce compliance with company procedures and cost accounting standards.
Foster consistent cooperation among all departments.
Prepare project expense budgets, revenue, and profit projections for the Division Manager.
Supervise and monitor all project work.
Provide technical advice to clients and employees.
Work with the Division Manager on bid pricing to meet volume and profit objectives.
Review estimates and proposal scope letters.
Review RFQ/RFP documents for subcontractor and vendor solicitation.
Demonstrate expertise in all phases of electrical and low‑voltage design and construction.
Enforce compliance with all applicable laws, safety standards, and contract requirements.
Preferred Education And/Or Experience
Electrical Engineering Degree or Electrical Trade Diploma with a minimum of 8 years of project management experience in the electrical industry, including at least 4 years leading complex multi‑million‑dollar projects.
Or a minimum of 10 years combined experience in field installation and project management, with at least 5 years leading large complex multi‑million‑dollar commercial and industrial projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication and team skills.
Professional certifications (preferred).
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Computer Skills
Experience with Accubid, Live Count, and Bluebeam (preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office suite (required).

Work Environment
Typical office environment with frequent travel to field locations. Conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, weather, noise, and risk of electrical shock.
