Your Mission & The Role
As the Product Manager Quantum Research, you will hold a strategic leadership position responsible for solidifying our competitive edge and defining a clear path for growth in our quantum computing research market, focused on academic settings. You will function as a strategic and process expert, owning the market strategies and product roadmap for our academic and research customers. Your primary goal is to continuously oversee the successful formulation and execution of our market strategies, balancing corporate goals with long‑term market trends and opportunities, and directly guiding both R&D and MSO (Marketing, Sales, and Operations) teams on tactical execution. This is a global role based in the US, reporting directly to our Head of Product at headquarters in Delft. Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
Lead the product roadmap for research on various qubit types, focusing on superconducting qubits and semiconductor spin qubits.
Gather, analyze and present market intelligence using internal and external sources, including market trends, customer insights and competitive positioning.
Define market trends for the market segments, bundle user requirements over a 3‑year rolling date range, and rank requirements by priority.
Convert market requirements into high‑level product definitions in close collaboration with technical product managers.
Build business cases for the full product portfolio for this market segment.
Proactively establish professional and productive relationships with Qblox excellence centers, customers and partners globally.
Represent Qblox at relevant gatherings and conferences, positioning us as a thought leader in the market segment.
Refine the internal way of working of the product with quantum application science and quantum success engineering teams to enhance our global customer engagement.
Support discussions with (potential) customers during the sales process.
Facilitate and lead the various internal qubit‑specific working groups.
Monitor sales and revenue progress of the product portfolio and propose requirements to continuously improve usability and competitive advantage.
Guide the GTM team in formulating the product launch plan, providing content for marketing collateral, and contributing to product press releases for the market segment solutions.
