This approach allows residents to focus on their individual strengths and engage in meaningful activities.

SUMMARY OF ROLE
The Life Enrichment Assistant plays an integral role in the success of our team, our community and creating a place our residents are proud to call home. The primary purpose of this position is to help facilitate day‑to‑day programs and scheduled events.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with coordinating and facilitating life enrichment activities and special events
Encourage resident engagement and adapt activities to individual needs and preferences
Support resident outings and transportation as needed
Collaborate with other departments to deliver meaningful programs
Maintain activity spaces, supplies, and equipmentDocument resident participation and communicate observations to leadership
Qualifications & Skills
Prior experience in recreational or social programming in healthcare or a related setting preferred
Ability to work compassionately with elderly, ill, or disabled individuals
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Must meet applicable state and federal requirements
Active role requiring standing, walking, lifting, and assisting residents
May involve occasional outdoor activities and weekend, evening, or holiday shifts as needed
