Offer Description
Research activities to study the relationship between anthropic pressure and pollinator ecosystem functions and services, to develop a geospatial ecosystem health index. The activities are based on the development and analysis of environmental digital layers, including high-resolution digital elevation models, land use, land cover, vegetation, and layers describing anthropic pressure such as indicators of human presence and urban indicators. The required analysis are implemented within the GRASS GIS environment using geomorphometric and machine learning methods
Holders of a master’s degree as specified in Article 3 of the call for applications, obtained no more than six years ago.
Candidates holding a qualification obtained abroad are admitted to the selection process subject to conditions; should they pass the selection process, successful candidates are required to submit an application for recognition (equivalence) of their foreign qualification to the Ministry of University and Research within 15 days of the publication of the final ranking, failing which they will be excluded from the selection process. The Examination Board has a total of 100 points, allocated as follows:
40 points for the scientific and professional curriculum;
30 points for selected publications;
30 points for the examination and interview.
Citizens of non-European Union countries may be appointed to a research post only if they hold a residence permit and subject to the submission of recognition of the equivalence or equivalence of their foreign qualification.
