We are seeking a Phlebotomist in Neptune, NJ.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 2:30pm and rotating Saturdays 7:00am - 11:00am.
Job Responsibilities
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites when needed
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or at least 3 months of experience as a phlebotomist
Additional Job Standards
Phlebotomy certification must come from an accredited agency if work experience is lacking
Proven track record in customer service
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently or in a team
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Reliable transportation
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
Phlebotomist will work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. You will also have opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.
Pay Range
$17.75 – $28.49 per hour
Phlebotomist may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
