Responsibilities
Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant
Location: In facility
Reporting structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab
Implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.
Address the whole patient and see them as an individual, restoring, reinforcing, and enhancing their physical abilities and independence.
Adapt activities to the needs of each patient and find joy in the variety of work and settings.
Collaborate with peers, providing referrals to ensure patients receive the care they need to thrive.
Put patients first by ensuring highest quality service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
Salary
USD $35.00 – $40.00 /hr.
