Our client, a leading organization in the medical device manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler 2, Instrument to join their team. As an integral part of the manufacturing department, you will support various teams involved in the fabrication, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location:

Sumter, SC

Pay Range:

$18.00 per hour

Shift:

Night shift (7:50 PM – 8:00 AM, 12‑hour nights, 3-2-2-3 schedule)

What’s the Job?

Perform tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices.

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth production flow.

Conduct quality inspections on processing lines in accordance with established specifications.

Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and scientific methods to maintain quality standards.

Assist in maintaining a safe and organized work environment, including wearing required safety gear such as steel toe shoes.

What’s Needed?

High school diploma or equivalent.

One to two years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.

Ability to read, interpret, and understand specifications written in English, along with basic math skills.

Proficiency in using measurement tools, such as microscopes, and basic hand tools.
