We are seeking an enthusiastic veterinary technician to join our growing ER care team full time! Credentials desired but not required.

We work with local wildlife rescuers and rehabilitators to provide care to nature’s most wild and in‑need animals, including hawks, eagles, owls, turtles, fawns, opossums, wild turkeys, porcupines, snakes and more.
ER / ICU Veterinary Technician Responsibilities
Anesthesia procedural monitoring
Full technician skill utilization
Collecting patient histories and physical exams
Medication refills and pet parent communication
Proficient in medical calculations
Venipuncture / IVC placement
Hands‑free radiology (associate safety a top priority)
Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
Providing compassionate care for all patients
Potential Schedule
Full‑time day, swing, or overnight available.
Compensation
$24–$35 per hour dependent on experience, skill set, and licensure status (VA, CVT).
Qualifications
Licensed veterinary technician (LVT, CVT, RVT) preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast‑paced 24‑hour emergency environment.

We support advanced cases with CT and specialty departments such as Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, I‑131 and more. We provide support for full technician skill utilization and help staff pursue Veterinary Technician Specialty (VTS) programs.
