Summary
Our Finance Department is seeking dynamic, personable, and professional Finance Interns who will work with the various functional finance departments within Energy Transfer at our Dallas office. This is a twelve (12) week paid internship program beginning May 2026. You must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with an expected graduation date in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027. (This opportunity doesn’t include relocation or living stipend)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Interns are assigned projects in several different finance groups including:
Treasury
Corporate Planning and Analysis
Operations Planning and Analysis
Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are:
Currently enrolled in college majoring in Finance
Preferably junior status as of Fall 2026
General requirements include self‑motivated individuals, involvement in activities outside college studies.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong computer and advanced Excel skills
Willingness to learn
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Adapts well to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities
Organizes, performs and prioritises various functions in a fast‑paced environment
Team player, able to work effectively with a diverse workforce and with various levels within the organization
