Traveling Teller (20 Hour) - Utah County

Job Overview
Retail Support provides traveling teller and banker support to Zions Bank branches to help cover absenteeism and meet branch needs. The role involves performing core banking transactions, providing customer service, and supporting branches across the geographic area.
Minimum Pay
Minimum pay is $17 an hour.
Responsibilities
Accurately process debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures, while maintaining an acceptable balancing record.
Identify and address clients’ needs by providing services such as opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing/activating ATM cards, performing money transfers, ordering checks, receiving loan payments, etc.
Resolve client problems either through direct action or by referring to alternative branch or bank resources.
Identify and maximize cross‑sell opportunities by exploring client needs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent and some cashiering, customer service, balancing, or related experience.
Basic knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products and/or banking.
Solid balancing and customer service skills; ability to cross‑sell bank products based on client needs.
Preferred experience selling products and services based on customer needs.
Locations
Retail Support covers a geographical area; mileage reimbursements are provided whenever an employee travels over 25 miles round‑trip from their home.
Position primarily supports branches in the Utah County area; on occasion, employees may cover shifts as far north as South Salt Lake.
