Paid Social Media/Community Relations Intern (Summer 2026)
The Talent School, Denver, NC, United States
Paid Social Media / Community Relations Intern (Summer 2026)
(On-Site | Hybrid | Remote Flexibility)
We’re looking for a creative, plugged-in, and detail-oriented Social Media / Community Relations Intern to join The Talent School this summer.
You’ll be part of a fast-moving team helping shape how The Talent School shows up online — from content and storytelling to community engagement and brand voice. If you love creating, testing ideas, and building something people actually want to follow (and be part of), you’ll fit right in.
Hands-on experience across social, content, and community
Real ownership, real impact (not busy work)
What You’ll Do
Plan, create, and schedule social media content (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
Write captions that people actually read (and don’t scroll past)
Support content creation — graphics, short-form video, and visual storytelling
Monitor engagement and interact with our community in a thoughtful, on‑brand way
Track performance and help identify what’s working (and what’s not)
Assist with community‑facing initiatives, events, and outreach
Collaborate with our team on campaigns, launches, and creative ideas
You’ll Be Great at This If You
Are a junior/senior in college/university or a recent grad
Have a strong sense of what makes content engaging vs. ignorable
Are creative, organized, and able to execute ideas quickly
Communicate clearly and naturally (no robotic captions, please)
Are comfortable learning new tools and adapting in a fast‑paced environment
Pay attention to details — tone, timing, visuals, all of it
Enjoy building community and connecting with people
Have an interest in education, startups, or mission‑driven work
