Overview
Foot Locker is looking for a passionate and strategic Director of Media Performance Analytics to join our North America Media team. In this dynamic role, you will be at the forefront of driving media performance through the analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) and the identification of opportunities to enhance efficiency, customer acquisition, and retention. You will lead a small, talented team while collaborating with cross-functional partners, particularly with our media analytics partner, Measured, to inform media pacing and traffic forecasts. Additionally, you'll develop and manage our A/B testing roadmap and educate internal teams, agencies, and media partners on best practices in media analytics and reporting. Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate media performance strategically and tactically, producing actionable insights that guide decision-making.
Forecasting & Budget Management:
Collaborate with the media team to utilize data and trend analysis for accurate traffic and budget pacing forecasts.
Insight Communication:
Effectively report findings to stakeholders, providing forward-looking insights that drive action and alignment across teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Champion A/B testing processes across media and CRM teams and implement personalization strategies to ensure the right media reaches the right customers.
Knowledge Sharing:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing trends and research industry news, nurturing an environment of learning and sharing within the organization.
Analytics Expertise:
Build expert-level understanding of customer and commerce analytics using tools such as SQL, Power BI, and manage our partnership with Measured.
Team Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop team members in media analytics practices, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred but appropriate combination of education and related training/experience will be considered
10+ years of experience in an analytical role handling customer and media performance data
Strong knowledge of the scientific process and a sense of curiosity
Be comfortable in ambiguous analytical situations, making and evaluating assumptions, and presenting findings to others.
Excellent written, verbal and communication skills along with an understanding of how to tell a complete story through data. Not just listing numbers and metrics
Knowledge of varying analytical disciplines. Examples include: Customer, ecommerce and retail sales data. Conversion optimization concepts, Customer Lifecycle and User Experience analysis.
Advanced Excel skills and some SQL knowledge; Python is a plus but not required
Knowledge of advanced statistics, data manipulation, and research methods preferred
Ability to perform statistical analysis of A/B/N tests
Must be able to think both creatively and critically
Must be highly motivated and be able to work both independently and in a team environment
Benefits
The annual base salary range is $150000-$180000. This role is also eligible to receive short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
