Job Description
The registered nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing and evaluating delivery of care. The RN is accountable for direct patient care and supervising care provided by professional and ancillary personnel. The RN assesses and plans for the educational needs of the patient and family to support maintenance or restoration of health status upon discharge. As a member of the health team, the RN implements the nursing plan, coordinates with the medical plan and works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team. Professionalism is demonstrated by quality of care, leadership, and continued professional growth and development. Quality assurance endeavors, including process improvement initiatives, are implemented with the nursing team. Any RN may be requested to float to other departments as patient needs dictate.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing program & currently licensed in the State of Washington
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers card (maintenance required)
At least one year recent experience as an RN
Valid Washington State driver’s license
Reliable transportation & valid automobile insurance
One to two years of previous clinical experience preferred in appropriate nursing area
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
PEARS
Medicare Certified Home Health or Hospice experience
Wage
Wage range currently starts at $44.70/hour and goes up to $79.60/hour. Actual wage will be based on years of applicable experience.
Shift Differentials
Evenings (3p-11p): $3.00/hour; Nights (11p-7a): 12% of hourly base rate; Weekends: $3.50/hour.
