USPI South Plains Endoscopy Center is seeking a motivated
Medical Records Clerk
to join our team. We have 1 OR room, 3 treatment rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Gastroenterology. Position requires weekdays only—no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule is subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.
Job Summary: Medical Records Clerk is responsible for assembling and maintaining patient health information in medical records and charts. Ensure all paper and electronic records are complete, properly identified and signed. Copies, retrieves and tracks medical records requests. Assembles charts for peer reviews and conducts chart audits on a daily basis. Responsible for tracking dictations to assure all cases are dictated and follow-up should be made with physicians regarding missing dictation of cases.

Knowledge of AAAHC Standards.
