Position Overview
As a

Dental Hygiene Assistant , you are an integral part of the care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. We are passionate about preventive oral health care and value our hygiene team. Join our dynamic dental practice as a Dental Hygiene Assistant! Candidates must have prior dental assisting experience to be considered.

What We Offer

Competitive Pay range: min $24-max $28 per hour

Full time: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:45am to 3:30pm

Responsibilities

Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization

Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment progress

Update patient health history and chart treatment progress

Expose and develop radiographs (if certified)

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care

Coordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments

Support the hygienist with patient scheduling and treatment recommendations and office recall systems

Perform routine tasks while ensuring compliance with the industry regulations including HIPAA & OSHA

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED (Required)

Associate or certification in Dental Assisting (Required)

Radiology certification (Required)Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
