Job Description
We are seeking a qualified physician to deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care in the realm of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R).
The position encompasses management of patients across various specialty domains, including:
Neurorehabilitation for traumatic brain injury and stroke recovery
Rehabilitation following spinal cord injuries
Amputee management
Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation
Orthopedic recovery strategies
Our multidisciplinary team includes Advanced Practice Providers, medical and surgical consultants, and internal medicine specialists. Join an expanding PM&R practice of eight physiatrists and actively contribute to the educational mission of our facility, a training site for PM&R residency programs.
You will have the opportunity to utilize cutting‑edge rehabilitation technologies, including ReWalk, Ekso, RT300, Xcite, and BURT, ensuring delivery of high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a physician‑friendly environment. Your contributions will support both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs strategically located across the region.
Qualifications
Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
New York State Medical License or eligibility required
DEA registration must be obtained prior to commencement of duties
Clean malpractice history essential
Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (active within 30 days) required
Certification Requirements
Board Certification or Board Eligibility
DEA registration
Valid New York State medical license
Additional License Requirements
No additional licenses specified beyond Board Certification/Eligibility and required state licenses.
